LifeServices Management Corporation is a locally owned real estate investment and property management company serving Erie and the surrounding Pennsylvania communities. We own and manage every residential and commercial property in our portfolio—ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and long-term satisfaction.
Our work is rooted in a simple philosophy:
If we build it, we maintain it.
If we own it, we stand behind it.
Those principles began decades ago with Whipple-Allen Construction, a family-built foundation centered on craftsmanship, responsibility, and care that lasts. That approach continued through the LifeServices Assisted Living era, where dignity, respect, and thoughtful stewardship shaped how environments were built and maintained.
Today, the same values remain, applied to the places where people live, work, and build their futures.
Meet the people responsible for the long-term care, stewardship, and consistency of our residential and commercial properties.
LifeServices began long before it carried its name.
The company’s origins trace back to Whipple-Allen Construction — a family-built business known for craftsmanship, accountability, and pride in the work. That foundation established a belief that still guides the organization today:
Build it correctly and care for it well.
In 1997, that philosophy expanded into assisted living, where a resident-directed model shaped everything from design to day-to-day decisions. The values at the center of that work — independence, privacy, dignity, and choice — defined how communities operated and how people experienced care.
Over the following two decades, LifeServices grew to nine assisted living communities across Pennsylvania and Ohio, serving more than 500 residents and supporting more than 450 caregivers.
In 2022, those communities transitioned to new ownership, ensuring continuity for residents while allowing LifeServices to focus fully on long-term real estate ownership, stewardship, and development.
Today, the philosophy remains the same:
We invest with care, maintain with intention, and make long-term decisions.
We believe real estate is a long-term responsibility.
The decisions made today should still make sense decades from now.
Our leadership team ensures every property, partnership, and investment reflects that standard, with decisions grounded in stewardship, long-term planning, and respect for the people and communities we serve.
Scott Allen has spent more than 30 years shaping LifeServices into a values-led real estate organization committed to responsible development and long-term ownership. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Scott began his career in construction and development. This experience continues to shape how LifeServices builds and maintains its properties today.
In 1992, LifeServices Assisted Living was founded and operated under private ownership, growing over the next two decades to nine assisted living communities across western Pennsylvania and the greater Cleveland region. Under this model, a resident-directed philosophy shaped the company’s operating discipline, compliance standards, and reputation for care.
After the assisted living portfolio transitioned to new ownership, LifeServices shifted its focus fully to residential and commercial real estate, applying that same methodical, people-first approach to long-term property ownership and stewardship.
Today, Scott leads the strategic direction, development planning, and operational standards for LifeServices Management Corporation, ensuring every decision supports longevity, reliability, and community value.
